Photography has always been part of my story.

 

I am a photographer inspired by my father, , Michael North, who dedicated his life to photography until 1981.  He passed away suddenly, electrocuted by his portable light system, while doing the very thing he loved most.  At the time, I couldn't have known that he had quietly passed the baton to me - but looking back, photography was never far from my heart.

 

I began my own photography journey in the early 2000's, capturing moments and stories through my lens.  Life eventually led me to step away from the camera to raise five incredible boys.  Those years were full of motion, growth, emotion, and everyday beauty; exactly the kinds of moments that photography exists to preserve.

 

Today, my children are grown, and I have returned fully to my passion with a deeper appreciation for time, connection, and the fleeting nature of life's most meaningful moments.

 

I offer both studio and on-location photography, and I am always open to travel; near or far.  Whether it's a wedding, the anticipation of a growing family, the joy of children, or the quiet magic of everyday life, I believe every chapter deserves to be documented with care and intention.

 

My work is rooted in authenticity, emotion, and storytelling.  I don't just take photography, I preserve moments that will one day become memories, heirlooms, and history.

 

Photography isn't just what I do. It's a legacy I carry forward.
